Grouper Fest Weekend 1

Fort Myers Brewing CompanyQueen of Bingo
Inspired by the classic antics of Harvey Korman and Tim Conway on The Carol Burnett Show, The Queen of Bingo brings big laughs to the stage as sisters Sis and Babe, both on the far side of 50, search for a little more spark in their lives and find it at the bingo hall. Written by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy, this comedy rolls through family ties, fad diets, widowhood, hot flashes, and the joy of a win. The audience even gets in on the action during the Middle Bird Special, a real bingo game where one attendee is awarded a complimentary 10-pound frozen turkey at each performance. Two male performers step into the roles of these unforgettable women, delivering broad, crowd-pleasing humor for theatergoers of all ages.

Luminance Summer Glow Ecstatic Dance Party
Luminance: Summer Glow transforms the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center into a glow-in-the-dark setting for yoga and ecstatic dance, with an evening centered on movement, music, color, and connection. Neon body painting and creative expression set the tone, followed by a grounding yoga flow and an ecstatic dance journey led by Lorena Ribeiro of Under the Tree Mindfulness. The experience culminates in an open dance floor that encourages release, reconnection, and free movement without judgment. Look for projection art by Israel Alpizar, a live DJ set by Crowd Controlol, and local vendors offering food. The event is open to ages 13 and up, and space is limited. Bring a yoga mat, a small pillow or cushion and a blanket, plus water. Wear comfortable, flowy clothing, and consider white or light colors to glow under blacklight. Ticket options include $35 early bird, $44 general admission, $80 for couples, and $55 at the door.
