    Atlanta Rhythm Section

Stuart · The Lyric Theatre, 55 SW Flagler Ave

Atlanta Rhythm Section brings a polished take on Southern rock, the sound that carried them into the upper tiers of the charts in the late 1970s. Born from the seasoned house band at Studio One in Doraville, Georgia, they balanced nightly session work with writing their own songs, ultimately releasing 15 albums and performing for large festival and arena audiences. Their music blends smooth pop sensibilities with rock foundations and nods to British influences, drawing kinship with groups like The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, and Little Feat. Champagne Jam marked their breakthrough, reaching the Top 10 and earning gold while spotlighting sleek production and shifting tempos, and the period delivered hits such as Imaginary Lover, So into You, Do It or Die, Spooky, and Doraville. They continue to tour extensively and appear on Rock Legends Cruises that support the Native American Heritage Association.

    Dear Mr. Bennett

Stuart · The Lyric Theatre, 55 SW Flagler Ave

Grammy-winning guitarist, singer, and producer John Pizzarelli salutes Tony Bennett with Dear Mr. Bennett, a program devoted to the vocalist’s remarkable career and lasting influence. With refined arrangements, superb musicianship, and a heartfelt connection to the repertoire, Pizzarelli revisits the songs that marked Bennett’s seven decades in music while adding his own signature jazz touch. This tribute carries personal resonance. Pizzarelli’s father, legendary guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, frequently performed with Bennett, and John later shared the stage with him as well. Their long-standing mutual admiration gives this performance the spirit of both celebration and remembrance for a cherished friend. Joined by his trio with bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson, Pizzarelli brings fresh vitality and polish to favorites from the Great American Songbook, including “The Best Is Yet to Come,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.” The performance shines with the warmth, swing, and timeless elegance that defined an international icon, blending unforgettable songs with engaging storytelling.

Stuart · 55 SW Flagler Ave

Two time Grammy nominee Mindi Abair brings her holiday concert I Can’t Wait for Christmas back to The Lyric, blending favorite seasonal tunes with the smooth jazz sound that has defined her career. The Florida born saxophonist and vocalist has appeared on major television stages with American Idol, The Late Show with David Letterman alongside Paul Shaffer, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with The Roots. She has toured with Duran Duran and Aerosmith, topped Billboard’s contemporary and blues charts, and received multiple nominations from the Blues Music Awards for Best Instrumentalist: Horns. Audiences may also know her from A Peter White Christmas. She shares the stage with an accomplished lineup that includes Rebecca Jade, honored as the Smooth Jazz Network’s Breakout Artist of the Year and JazzTrax’s Debut Artist of the Year in 2022, Andréa Lisa, a South African born and New Zealand trained singer, guitarist, composer, and producer who has collaborated with Jonathan Butler, Kirk Whalum, and Kool & the Gang, Xavier Gordon, a pianist, songwriter, producer, and performer, Arthur Thompson, her longtime drummer recognized as the Smooth Jazz Network’s Breakout Artist of the Year in 2023, and Darryl Williams, whose debut album That Was Then earned praise from JazzTimes. Abair’s love of the season traces back to family gatherings filled with music, from her grandmother at the piano to lively sing alongs that inspired her to pick up the sax. That spirit shines in her 2024 release I Can’t Wait for Christmas on Pretty Good for a Girl Records, a ten song collection that reimagines holiday classics with fresh, soulful flair. A separately ticketed pre-show Wine and Jazz Tasting Experience is also available, hosted by Abair and her husband, Eric Guerra. Stuart · 55 SW Flagler Ave

Vocalist Lorraine Brown honors the world of Dionne Warwick with a high-energy tribute that brings the singer’s signature hits to life. From her first notes, Brown’s stage presence and commitment set the tone for a heartfelt salute to one of music’s most celebrated voices. A seasoned solo performer with credits spanning stage, television, recordings, and international cabaret, she is known for a rich, powerful, and soulful sound. She moves seamlessly from tender ballads to upbeat anthems, pairing refined technique with raw emotion in a way that stays with listeners long after the final song, and standing ovations are a frequent result. The Dionne Legacy revisits beloved favorites including “Walk on By,” “I Say Little Prayer,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and “That’s What Friends are For.” Brown does more than recreate the melodies. She channels the elegance and timeless spirit behind them, guiding the audience through a musical journey across pop, soul, and R and B history.
