    Remedy Tree

Heartwood Soundstage, 619 S Main St, Gainesville · verified Aug 2
    See details

Heartwood Soundstage hosts a live performance by Remedy Tree, an Americana group from Florida that draws on bluegrass, old-time, and folk traditions. The band formed in 2015 when Gabriel and Abigail Acevedo combined Gabriel’s perspective shaped by a Puerto Rican birth and rural Florida upbringing with Abigail’s strong old-time roots. With Nathan Beaumont on mandolin and Isaac Taylor on banjo, they craft original songs that honor tradition while sounding newly minted. After signing with Mountain Fever Records, they have appeared in Ireland, England, and across the Eastern United States, sharing bills with Peter Rowan, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sister Sadie, Ricky Skaggs, and The Steeldrivers. Their album Beyond What I Can See continues to build momentum as they lead The Forest Tour. This is an indoor concert. Seating upgrades are available at checkout, and all ages are welcome.
