Anglers of all ages are invited to a friendly competition that supports coastal conservation. This rain or shine tournament features Team and Youth divisions, and participants may fish from any location. Check-in takes place at The Heights Center, followed by an awards banquet and BBQ. Prizes will be presented to the top three finishers in each division, with additional door prizes and raffle items. Every youth angler receives a goodie bag. Registration is available, with a $25 youth entry for ages 15 and under that includes a CCA membership and BBQ, a $50 adult entry that includes a CCA membership and BBQ, and a $15 BBQ-only option. Enjoy a gentle farm experience centered on animal snuggles. Hold and cuddle baby goats, then share some affection with Marsala, a Highland calf. When your goat session wraps up, explore the ranch at your own pace, feed the donkeys, hold the chickens, and look through the gift shop. Sessions are capped at 10 participants to keep things calm and hands-on. Every attendee must purchase a ticket in advance, and each person needs their own reservation. Explore Lakes Regional Park on a relaxed, guided nature walk led by Bird Patrol volunteers in partnership with Lee County Parks and Recreation. Follow easy, well maintained paths while experienced guides help you spot and identify birds in native vegetation throughout this Lee County hotspot, an important nesting habitat for many species. There is no tour fee, and standard park parking rates apply, $1 per hour or $5 for the day. Meet at Shelter A7 near the Train Station inside the park. Plan to arrive a little before the start for a short introduction, the walk begins promptly. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the outdoors, and bring water, sunscreen, and binoculars. The season kicks off with a car show featuring a wide variety of cars, food, and music. Raffles will run throughout the event with prizes to win, and a 50/50 drawing will benefit Cape Coral Animal Shelter. Kids can serve as honorary car show judges for the day. Pre-registration is available.
