Munay Ki Shamanic Apprenticeship - Starweaver Tribe Class 2

    101 Brevard Dr W, Melbourne
    See details

Class 2 of the Munay Ki shamanic apprenticeship welcomes participants who are ready to step into the next stage of this path. If the first session was missed, it is recommended to watch the Class 1 and Bands of Power video beforehand, then continue in person with the second class. The Munay Ki offers nine initiatory rites, presented as energetic transmissions intended to mend deep-rooted wounds and reshape the Luminous Energy Field, encouraging a life that ages with grace and embraces new possibilities. Participants explore experiences such as receiving angelic guidance, strengthening protective light, releasing emotional burdens, awakening the inner healer, reclaiming personal power, deepening communication with spirit, walking the initiatory journey of a shaman and a person of medicine, and unfolding innate spiritual gifts. This journey welcomes both newcomers and seasoned practitioners, supporting a clearer connection to one’s divinity and a more healed, authentic expression of self. The series consists of nine classes, and attendance at all sessions is required to receive all nine rites. For this class, wear black clothing and bring a journal with a pen, a bottle of water, and a snack if needed. A black shawl is optional. Classes run on an ongoing basis, and if registration is closed or a session is missed, other groups are available for make-up opportunities. Additional free community offerings include moon ceremonies, men’s and women’s groups, journey circles, and a children’s Munay Ki, and introductory materials about Munay Ki and the Chacana Spiritual Center are available. Those who feel called can continue by beginning the Mesa, a shamanic practitioner apprenticeship focused on building a sacred medicine bundle, working in the unseen, transforming personal shadow, and serving as a channel for transformative energy. Instruction is led by Shannon Davis, also known as Apu, a shaman and medicine woman in the Peruvian Q’ero lineage and a hospice nurse with an RN. Her background includes certifications in Reiki and vibrational energy healing, intuitive and clairvoyant abilities, speaking engagements, and client work in shamanic healing as well as life and business coaching with the medicine wheel. She is the head teacher at Chacana and mentors Mesa students through a two-year apprenticeship. Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the class. For assistance, contact the Chacana Spiritual Center at 321.610.3406, and a response will follow by text, email, message, or phone.

Settle into a guided meditation where sacred sound and Reiki are woven together to create a supportive circle centered on compassion, heart-led self care, and a grounded return to center. The resonance of singing bowls and intentional sound encourages release of what no longer serves, inviting gentle intention-setting and alignment with your highest path. Reiki is held for the group while layered tones move through the space, helping to clear energetic blockages and invite deep peace. This is a shared energy experience with no hands-on touch. A suggested love donation of $10 to $20 supports the offering, and pre-registration is recommended since space is limited for an intimate setting. The experience is guided by Patti Berlin, LMT, a healing arts practitioner with more than 25 years of experience whose background includes Usui Holy Fire Reiki Mastery, ordination as a holistic minister, Kundalini Yoga, and practices in Healix Healing, Qi, Feng Shui, sound, color, plant medicine, and therapeutic touch. Full Moon Ceremony

The Chacana Spiritual Center, 101 Brevard Dr W, Melbourne
    Free

Gather under the September full moon, often called the Harvest Moon, for a community celebration of balance, illumination, and reflection. Historically this moon offered extra evening light for bringing in the crops, and it now serves as a reminder to harvest intentions set earlier in the year and clear space before autumn’s introspective season. The evening opens with complimentary shamanic clearing to help participants prepare for the ceremony. Tarot readings are available for purchase. The gathering features shared drumming and singing, plus a simple craft where each person decorates a small stick about the size of a pencil for use in the ritual. Attendees will set intentions to release up to three things that no longer serve them and celebrate together beneath the night sky. Plan to arrive on time to take part in the clearing and get your ceremony stick ready. Consider bringing a chair or blanket, a rattle or drum if you have one, a personal drink, and any items that add to outdoor comfort. This is a family friendly space and all ages are welcome. The event is free, and love donations are appreciated. Contributions such as sage, olive oil, or firewood are also welcome.
