New to salsa and looking for an easy way to start? This beginner-friendly drop-in lesson covers the core steps and rhythms in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. No dance experience is required. Come on your own or with a partner, and rotate partners during class so everyone gets a chance to practice and learn. The focus is on building confidence while having fun. Cost is $15.

Start your swing dancing journey with a drop-in lesson designed for absolute beginners. Learn the fundamentals of Lindy Hop Swing in a relaxed, welcoming setting, with no prior dance experience required. Come on your own or with a partner, and rotate partners during the class so everyone gets a chance to practice. The lesson is $15. After class, enjoy a Swing Social that is included with the lesson or available as a $10 social-only option.

Discover Okeechobee one stop at a time with the Chobee Perks Summer Challenge, a community treasure hunt that invites residents and visitors to shop, dine, and explore local favorites throughout Okeechobee County. Participate by downloading the Visit Okeechobee County app, opening the Challenges section, selecting the Chobee Perks Summer Challenge, then visiting participating businesses to scan their QR codes. PSL Green Markets continues its Summer Series at the MidFlorida Event Center with a Back to School celebration. Expect family friendly activities like bounce houses, a variety of food trucks, music, and cultural highlights, along with plenty of chances to shop from local vendors offering fresh finds. Giveaways are part of the day, including a lunch box giveaway while supplies last. The market emphasizes community spirit and support for small businesses.

Loaves And Fishes Fort Pierce, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving downtown Fort Pierce and nearby communities, hosts a free Sunday dinner for neighbors experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. Meals are offered in a covered outdoor setting. During the gathering, a no-cost commissary provides clothing, outdoor living supplies, and personal hygiene items, supported by donations from REACH Community Church and the wider St. Lucie County community. The meal is open to anyone, and volunteers are needed to help serve food and prepare homemade dishes.

Children ages 3 to 8 can take part in a free yoga class at Down To Earth Yoga Studio in Port St. Lucie. Presented by The Healing House Inc., this session is part of a summer series made possible by a generous donation that supports the nonprofit mission of bringing mindfulness, movement, and emotional wellness to youth in the community. Registration is required. The classes are supported by Down To Earth Yoga Studio and Dr. Chris White.
