Bring a chair, a cooler, and some shade, and consider a float or tube to reach the nearby sandbar and look for sand dollars while you are out there. Please note that dogs, alcohol, and glass are not permitted on the Causeway, and police patrol the area and issue fines for violations. A restaurant with a bar and restrooms is within walking distance. Be considerate of the shoreline and leave the beach cleaner than you found it.

At Caledonia Brewing, music lovers can test their knowledge in a free-to-play trivia night with rounds such as Name That Tune, general music trivia, and other surprises. The HOB Give Back provides a free grocery distribution for anyone experiencing food insecurity. Everyone is welcome, and no identification is required. To keep things fair, each household is limited to one bag, and volunteers may check that attendees are not from the same home. Donations come through Good Neighbors, and households can choose the items that suit them best within the one bag limit. Options often include fresh produce, breads, desserts, and meat, though availability can change and some items may have family limits. A simple lottery sets the order of service using Food Give Away Cards that are handed out and then drawn at random. After distribution begins, newcomers receive a smiley face and are served at the end since no new cards can be issued once things are underway. The giveaway takes place under the pavilion at HOB Brewing Co.
