Space Coast Harley-DavidsonThe Secret Lives of Florida’s Native Plants (and the Bugs Who Love Them)
Mark Kateli, an Advanced Florida Master Naturalist, past president of the Florida Native Plant Society, and current president of the Cuplet Fern, leads an interactive, game-based program marking 25 years of the Florida Master Naturalist Program. Hosted by the Space Coast Regional Friends Group of the Florida Master Naturalist Program at UF IFAS Brevard County Extension Service, this educational session highlights the beauty and importance of Florida’s native plants and the insects that rely on them. It is designed for beginners and experienced naturalists alike, encouraging active learning while reflecting the conservation conscience championed by Dr. Archie Carr. Admission is free and open to the public, and native plant prizes may be available.
