Start the school year with a fun, no-cost back-to-school photo opportunity. Families can capture picture-perfect moments in a professional, festive setup that suits milestones from the first day of kindergarten to the final first day of high school. Experience classic bedtime tales in a planetarium as stars shimmer overhead. A live narrator shares a selection of picture books while the pages are projected across the dome so families can enjoy the illustrations and follow along together. Admission is free and no tickets are required.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class begins for a free chair yoga session led by Jennifer Stone, a Registered Yoga Teacher from Tallahassee with a strong reputation. The practice centers on balance, range of motion, flexibility, posture, and breathing to support ease of movement and stability. It is open to men and women, with seniors in mind, and welcomes participants of all ages. No yoga mat is needed. Light hand weights in the 1 to 2 pound range are suggested but optional, and bringing water or another form of hydration is recommended. This ongoing weekly class aims to encourage a safer, healthier lifestyle.

An open mic with Doc Russell at Blue Tavern offers signups, with the playing order determined by a lottery. Sets run about 12 to 15 minutes, adjusted according to the number of performers. Admission is free, and each performer receives a complimentary drink.

A free, team-style trivia night at Amicus Brewing Ventures is hosted by Trivia Maestro Chef John of the Tampa Bay Dream Team. The top three teams earn ABV Bucks in the amounts of $30, $20, and $10. The first-place team also gets a photo with the Tampa Bay Dream Team Champions trophy, a large and lively prize that varies by location, and the winners can tag it with their own team swag.
