Open Mic
This open mic night at BrewBurger's in Venice is hosted by Zach Regan or another host. It features live music, an upbeat atmosphere, and food for a relaxed evening of performances.
BrewBurger'sLDV's Venice Beach Volleyball Meetup
Gather on the main Venice public beach at the courts just north of the blue lifeguard tower for beach volleyball geared toward intermediate players. Games are typically 3-on-3 or 4-on-4, with a social atmosphere that loosely follows beach rules. Three-hit play is encouraged and participants are expected to understand it and respect the setter. Organized by an art studio focused on creating community, this ongoing meetup has been running since 2018 and often sees 20 to 30 people. The vibe is relaxed, so arriving late or heading out early is fine. Play usually goes on even when the weather is less than ideal. The organizer invests a lot into making this happen and welcomes support, including cash tips or Venmo to LDVVLLC, with an option for a monthly subscription.
