Dragon King HobbiesSummer Solstice Nidra & Tea Tasting Ceremony
Celebrate the turning of the season with Green Thread Circle at a Summer Solstice ceremony that blends a calming tea experience with deeply restorative Yoga Nidra. The gathering begins with a gentle cleansing on arrival, time to create a cozy Nidra nest, and a short welcome to settle the room. Participants first taste an herbal blend chosen to honor the closing season and share a gratitude practice. A 60 to 75 minute guided Yoga Nidra follows, inviting stillness and rest. Afterward, a second seasonal tea marks the energy of the new chapter, and the ceremony closes with an intention-setting ritual. This event is open to beginners as well as experienced practitioners. All teas are herbal and naturally caffeine-free. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation done lying down or seated with minimal movement, so participants should be comfortable being still for up to an hour or more. Dress for relaxation, such as loungewear or pajamas, and consider layers since body temperature can drop during deep rest. Please bring at least a yoga mat and a blanket, and feel free to add pillows, extra blankets, fluffy socks, sweaters, or other props to build your nest. Bolsters, eye pillows, tea, and ceremonial supplies are provided. If snoring or dozing is common, adding an extra pillow or yoga blocks to elevate the torso can help. Seasonal tea blends are curated from herbalists and tea shops, brewed with filtered water, and served with optional local honey. Please alert the facilitator to any edible plant allergies. Each participant receives a card listing the specific blends and where to purchase more. After the ceremony, there is time to linger, enjoy additional tea, and buy satchels of the featured blends to take home. Attendance is intentionally limited with just a few spots each season, and arriving about 15 minutes early is encouraged to allow time to set up and connect with others. The ceremony takes place at Spark of Divine Healing Center in downtown Vero Beach, Florida, with ample parking available nearby. Cost is $45 per person.
