Legends & Lore: A Chapter of Valor
VB BookTok Babes presents an evening themed around victory and valor, centered on a community discussion of We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark, a Roman and Greek inspired romantasy that has been buzzing across BookTok. The gathering takes place at The Venue and is designed as a social night for readers to connect, celebrate the story, and step into a heroic mood. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their own fierce female lead from a romantasy world. Interpretations can range from a cloaked assassin look to Illyrian style leathers or Gladian inspired bindings, and a sporty modern take is welcome too. The event is alcohol free. Real weapons are not permitted. Cosplay props are allowed, with options to purchase from Coach Kelsey. Tickets include complimentary themed appetizers and light bites, along with a station of signature mocktails and other nonalcoholic refreshments. Programming features sword and shield training led by Kelsey of Fantasy Fitness by Brenna, a guided conversation about We Who Will Die, access to a curated market of local vendors, an entry into a raffle for exclusive bookish prizes, and photo opportunities supported by professional photographers. The evening begins with the vendor market, food, and mingling, then moves into the book discussion. A prize drawing and photo moments follow, leading into the Babes in Battle session for light movement and warrior skills to channel that main character energy. All ticket purchases are final and cannot be moved to a future event. Tickets may be transferred or sold at face value to another guest, and organizers ask to be notified by email of any changes.
