Show and Tell Happy Hour
This show and tell style happy hour serves as preparation for the upcoming exhibit Together. Attendees can bring photos, objects, and memories, then spend about five minutes sharing the story behind a chosen item or image. Participation is optional. Memories can be from any location and do not need to be related to DeKalb County. Current and former DeKalb County residents are asked to share fond memories through photographs or objects, and what is shared may be included in Together, which will highlight DeKalb County citizens through photographs, oral histories, an all ages interactive activity, and artifacts from the collection. The event is free to attend, and drink tickets are available for purchase.

At Eddie's Attic, Atlanta Storytellers: The Songs That Shape Us celebrates its first anniversary with an evening that pairs true personal narratives with the music that defined them. A curated roster of Atlanta voices, including past Moth StorySLAM and GrandSLAM winners, shares stories sparked by unforgettable songs, then a live band performs each selection on stage. Storytellers include Ron Chapman, Jihad El-Amin, Kamaria Korta, Katina, Misha Sanders, and Cola Rum, with music by The Tabernacle Collective. Blending concert energy with a storytelling showcase, this intimate night honors memory, music, and the moments that shape a life.
