    Wag-O-Ween Weekend 2026

    Savannah · Downtown, 18 W Gaston St

Savannah’s annual trick or treat outing for dogs returns for its 21st year, inviting costumed pups and their people to stroll between businesses from the Riverfront to the Starland District in search of festive fun and treats. Tickets are required per participating animal and include a sponsor-filled goody bag for collecting treats along with a map of all participating stops. A single ticket is valid for both days of the event, so it is easy to explore one area at a comfortable pace and come back for another the next day. Tickets are available online or can be purchased in person in Pulaski Square and at Starland Yard. At Pulaski Square, the official photo booth offers a way to enter the event contest, pick up shirts and raffle tickets, and sign up for the Wiener Races, with a just-for-fun division open to dogs of all kinds. Vendors and rescue groups will also be set up in other downtown squares. Proceeds support participating local animal rescues and shelters from surrounding counties, with opportunities to meet adoptable dogs along the route. Funds raised additionally benefit the Sara Portman Community Fund, which focuses on spay and neuter initiatives, education, and helping families keep pets in their homes. The event is organized by Renegade Paws Rescue in partnership with Case Veterinary Hospital.
