    John Hollier & The Reverie

    Eddie's Attic, 515 N McDonough St, Decatur · verified Oct 9
    See details

John Hollier & The Rêverie bring a charged blend of rock, soul, alt-country, and indie-folk to Eddie’s Attic, led by the Louisiana-born singer-songwriter behind Rainmaker. Recorded with his road band to preserve their natural chemistry, the album channels the same stage-ready spark, heard on the single Somewhere Down the Road, a plea for clarity and resolve while pursuing big dreams. Hollier’s roots reach back to a crawfish farm in French-Cajun country, and the group’s name nods to the Old French word rêver, meaning to dream. The ensemble performs with fire and heart, drawing comparisons to Bruce Springsteen, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Needtobreathe, leaning into their strengths to shape a sound that stands apart.

    Maurice the Music

    Eddie's Attic, 515 N McDonough St, Decatur
    See details

Live at Eddie's Attic, Maurice the Music brings a self-made mix of country and R&B, performing songs he writes, produces, and plays himself. His bond with music began early while moving through foster care, group homes, and juvenile detention, where he picked up guitar, piano, trombone, and any instrument within reach. When traditional bookings were scarce, he turned crosswalks and sidewalks into his stage, gathering listeners city by city with spur-of-the-moment sets. Since then he has shared the bill with Morgan Wallen, drawn attention on American Idol, and reached millions through videos of strangers pausing to hear him play. His community of supporters, Da Kinfolks, votes on his next stop, and he follows their lead. Grounded in faith and mindful of his beginnings, he performs to show that a tough start does not decide the ending.

    Maya de Vity

    Eddie's Attic, 515 N McDonough St, Decatur · verified Oct 9
    See details

Presented by Atlanta Americana, Eddie's Attic hosts a live set from singer and songwriter Maya de Vitry. Known for performances that thrive on spontaneity and for lyrics that sift for truth, she arrives with her fifth full-length, All My Faith, rooted in alt-country and indie folk with a raw, present feel. The songs roam from canyons and kitchens to cold lakes and highway truck stops, blending moments of joy, sorrow, and frank honesty. Stories span from bleary airport bachelorette escapades in Nashville to reflections on the patterns that can confine us, carried by a steady confidence and a belief in the transformative pull of song. Recorded and mixed by engineer Sean Sullivan, a five-time Grammy recipient, and produced by de Vitry, the album gathers trusted collaborators, including Spencer Cullum and Ethan Ballinger on pedal steel and guitar, Jo Schornikow on keys, Ethan Jodziewicz on bass, Dominic Billett on drums, and harmony vocals from Shelby Means and Joel Timmons. Opening with a title track that embraces time, love, and uncertainty, the record considers how people care for one another and the healing that can grow from those connections, a presence she continues to cultivate on stage.
