Bring the whole family for Wowie Zowie, an interactive improv show packed with laughs. Some of Atlanta’s best improvisers will take the stage and get kids and parents involved in the action, making it especially great for children ages 4 to 12. Kids can participate as much or as little as they want, so everyone can enjoy the show at their own comfort level.

Included with Garden admission, this encore exhibition celebrates the Garden’s 50th anniversary with a sweeping presentation of monumental works by French sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle, recognized as one of the first female artists to create massive sculptures, including her celebrated Nanas alongside fantastical animals and monsters. Displayed throughout the grounds and within the Conservatory, Orchid Center and Gardenhouse Gallery, the exhibition brings together 41 works, largely on loan from the Niki Charitable Art Foundation with additional pieces from private collections, in what is believed to be the most extensive display of her art in North America. Visitors will find a wide range of scale, from the 2,000-pound Grand Step Totem and the 16.5-foot Large Yelling Man to compact wall reliefs measuring about two feet square. A centerpiece features The Three Graces in the Skyline Garden pond, and an interpretive exhibit near the entrance to the Orchid Display House offers background on the artist and her work.

At the Center for Puppetry Arts, an electric stage showdown brings Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison face to face in their famed rivalry from the industrial age. Edison is portrayed as a tireless entrepreneur and captivating showman, while Tesla stands out as a visionary whose ideas seem to spark with lightning. The result is a high-energy theatrical experience centered on two of history’s most influential inventors. Museum admission is included, and Midtown parking is free. Tickets start at $24 and go up to $36.
