The band includes songwriter and guitarist Donna Hopkins, a veteran performer with long ties to Atlanta and Nashville, bassist Jon Schwenke, known on the local scene since 1993 for his steady feel, drummer Jason LaMarca, who returned to Atlanta in 1997 and has powered many artists with his grooves, and multi-instrumentalist Jon Harris, an Atlanta singer and songwriter versed in guitar, slide, lap steel, and mandolin with multiple releases to his name.

Murray Attaway, the lead voice and writer for Guadalcanal Diary, recently returned with the solo album Tense Music Plays, crafted largely in his home studio with producer-engineer Mark Williams. The record reflects the inventive writing that fueled four Elektra releases by Guadalcanal Diary and earned enthusiastic notices, including placements on multiple year-end best-of lists. Peter Holsapple follows the release of his third solo set, The Face of 68, which drew a four-star review from MOJO and praise from 13th Floor. Variety spotlighted his song That Kind of Guy among its Best Songs list. Onstage he mixes material from The dB’s and Continental Drifters with newer work in an acoustic setting known for tuneful melodies and sharp wordplay. Don Dixon is a South Carolina-born songwriter, singer, musician, record producer, and occasional actor now based in Ohio. A cofounder of Arrogance, he has issued 15 solo albums, including the minor MTV hit Praying Mantis, and his songs have been recorded by artists such as Joe Cocker, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Marti Jones. His production credits span The Smithereens, Gin Blossoms, R.E.M. with Mitch Easter, Hootie and the Blowfish, and many more, and he has collaborated on records with over 150 artists. Together, Attaway, Holsapple, and Dixon bring deep catalogs, recent highlights, and decades of craft to a single night at Eddie’s Attic.

Jersey Town salutes New Jersey, where Peter Karp sharpened his storytelling and guitar voice, delivering eleven tracks inspired by years of night-after-night gigs in bars along the New Jersey Turnpike and the characters, real and imagined, found there. Karp plays electric resonator slide and acoustic guitar, harmonica, and piano, channeling clever wordplay into music that swings from relentless and tough to jubilant and sly. His path includes an early national boost through recording and touring with Mick Taylor, a stint with Blind Pig Records, and several releases, including two with Sue Foley, that reached the top of the Blues and Billboard charts. Across it all, he is recognized for heartfelt songwriting supported by skilled musicians and a sound shaped by New Jersey swamps and southern Alabama roots.
