Summer City Hoops
Every Wednesday evening, Urban Dreams turns Birdland Park into a lively hub for Summer City Hoops, a free community basketball night with 3v3 games, great music, delicious food, and plenty of chances to connect. The event is open to all, whether attending to play, support youth, or enjoy the neighborhood vibe. Powered by the Summer Youth Employment Program, youth employees build skills in teamwork, leadership, and event production as they run the show each week. Sponsorships for Summer City Hoops and Summer on Sixth are available to support local youth leadership and community engagement.

At Cha Cha's Hiland Bakery, networking gets a sweet twist. Guests can enjoy happy hour from the full bar, then decorate cookies with guidance from the bakery's owners.
