This public USPSA event reserves Pits 7–16. Shooters are expected to help with setup and teardown. Shooting begins after setup is complete, and teardown takes place after each squad finishes its final stage. New shooters must check in at the range building in the pistol pits for a briefing at the designated start time, or they will not be able to shoot. A festive Foster Care Holiday Party at Topgolf in Meridian, Idaho brings families, supporters, and neighbors together under the Margie Barilla Foundation’s banner to celebrate the season while uplifting a meaningful cause. Proceeds support the foundation’s work for children in foster care and survivors of human trafficking, funding essential resources and the development of emergency shelters across several states, including Texas, Illinois, Nevada, and Washington, D.C. The 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Car Show brings the community together at Fred Meyer in Meridian, ID for a day focused on automobiles. Vehicles of any make or model are welcome to participate. Entry is a new, unwrapped toy. Pre-registration is available for those who want to sign up ahead of time.

Explore 150 years of Boise history and architecture on a guided walking tour of downtown. The tour introduces the built environment that makes downtown Boise distinctive and shares how the area developed and the people who shaped it. It is suitable for visitors and Idaho residents interested in learning more about the city’s history.

Play board games, trading card games, and miniatures games while supporting lifesaving care at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. The gaming halls offer friendly tables, competitive pods, and access to the Board Game Room, with donations encouraged and all event proceeds benefiting St. Luke’s. Participants can earn prizes and raffle tickets based on event results, purchase additional raffle tickets, and spin the prize wheel. The prize table features more than $3,000 in prizes, including board games, miniatures games, and trading card game booster boxes. Bring friends and any supplies needed for your selected events.

Children ages 5–12 can explore clay through hands-on sessions for beginner to advanced levels. Activities alternate among handbuilding, wheel throwing, and glazing, introducing skills such as patience, perseverance, problem solving, and creativity. Each student will make at least one or two ceramic pieces, with clay, guidance, tools, wheels, glazes, and kiln firing included. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty or bring an apron. Pre-registration is required, and long nails are not recommended.

NeuroQueer Collective is a free meetup for neurodivergent and/or queer adults to connect and talk while coloring, drawing, or working on a craft of their choice.

During weeks with scheduled competitive events, such as Pre-Releases, League Challenges, or League Cups, those events will take the place of open play.

Take part in a weekly Star Wars: Unlimited play event at ABU Games, with Standard Format on most weeks and Booster Draft Format on the first Saturday of each month. Both formats include three Swiss rounds and prizes, with a booster pack for players who do not win a match. Participants receive a three-card OP Booster, and promotional items may be available. In Premier Format, there is also a chance to win a Carbonite Booster for every eight players in attendance. Players can also purchase a discounted Standard Star Wars: Unlimited Upgrade Pack.

Set sail on an original Dungeons & Dragons adventure in the worlds of the Sanctum and Waterdeep. Drop-in one-shot adventures welcome players for heroic quests, with character sheets provided and only dice needed. Every player receives five raffle tickets, with prizes including board games, trading card game booster boxes, and a D&D bundle. Proceeds support Extra Life and the local St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Donations can also be made directly to the Extra Life campaign.

Take part in a community-focused Flesh and Blood TCG Armory event featuring three rounds of play in the Classic Constructed format. The format may occasionally change. The event uses a modified pack-per-win prize structure, with GEM Packs distributed randomly and at least one pack for every participant. Players of all skill levels are welcome to test their decks and connect with fellow fans of the game.

American Boffer offers a lively, structured session at Nampa Public Library where kids stay active from start to finish. Using foam sword activities in a supervised setting, participants build coordination, teamwork, and confidence while having fun. At the core is the Oath of Fairplay, which promotes honesty, accountability, and respect during games and friendly competition. Designed for ages 8 to 13. Waivers are required upon arrival.

Learn the basics of wire wrapping while creating a handmade pendant with a natural stone cabochon. Guided instruction covers working with three core wires, weaving a bail, securing a stone within a wire frame, and adding personal design elements. All tools and materials are provided, and participants may bring a favorite cabochon to incorporate. Ages 15 and up are welcome. Registration is $40 and advance sign up is required. Optional items to have on hand include any cabochons you prefer to use, water in a spill proof container, and layered clothing. This beginner-friendly class also suits artists looking to expand their jewelry making skills. Instructor Maryann Weed has more than 12 years of experience in wire wrapping and offers a wide selection of natural gemstones for student projects. Outside the classroom she works as a professional cosplayer and clown and balloon artist, supporting children’s charities through appearances at events such as those organized by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Mark the GD-06 release with sealed play for the Gundam TCG using the Deckbuilding Kit. The entry fee is estimated at $60 and may change. The event will start promptly, so plan to arrive on time. Seating is limited, so pre-registration is recommended to secure a spot, and it opens one month before the event date.

Take part in weekly organized play for the Gundam TCG. There is a $6 entry fee and three Swiss rounds. All participants receive a booster pack and an OP Pack, with additional prizes available based on round wins. Bring your own deck to play.

Explore the latest Magic: The Gathering Universe Beyond set, Star Trek, at this prerelease event. The tournament uses the Sealed format, with space for up to 36 players. Players can be entered manually or use the Magic Companion app to join the event with a room code provided at signup.

The Boise Baseball Academy Benefit Banquet brings together supporters, families, friends, coaches, local businesses, and community members for an evening of food, drinks, and fundraising. Guests can enjoy a catered dinner by Big K BBQ, a silent auction, raffles, and prizes. Raffles include a shotgun or rifle, a baseball glove, and liquor. Proceeds support Boise Baseball Academy’s coaching, player development, training opportunities, and baseball experiences for its athletes. This is an adult event.

Friday Night Magic features a Commander format with two rounds. Entry is four Magic: The Gathering rare cards with a gold set symbol, and all players receive two to four rare cards as prizes based on performance.

An audience-driven improv experience unfolds as the cast builds a single one act play entirely from crowd suggestions. Performed without a script in one uninterrupted piece, the story develops in real time as characters, relationships, and comedy emerge on the spot. It all begins with a location offered by the audience, perhaps a bustling airport, a deserted theme park, or a fast food break room, and that setting becomes the springboard for a tale told once and never repeated. The result is spontaneous twists, genuine connections, and plenty of laughs as the performers discover where the story goes.

This four-week introductory series covers the foundations of drag king performance, from developing a persona to creating a stage-ready look. Sessions explore drag king history, discovering your character and swagger through movement, building an act, costuming, and basic masculine contour with a hands-on makeup tutorial. A king kit is included. Participants can register for the full series or individual classes, and payment plans are accepted. Classes are transferable, but payments are nonrefundable.

Take on a 300-yard shooting challenge using .22LR rifles only. Shooters may use a bipod and rear bag, with sleds and benchrest rests not permitted. The challenge includes 50 rounds, and cash prizes for first, second, and third place depend on turnout.

Caffé D'arte inside The Warehouse serves coffee and offers several breakfast and lunch options. The group will be at a table near Totally Smashed.

This beginner-friendly drawing class welcomes all ages and offers practice in creating accurate lines, forms, values, and shapes using vine charcoal, newsprint, and drawing paper. Each lesson explores a different topic, such as foundational lines, values, drapery, edges, and organic or man-made shapes, with a still life setup provided for the lesson. Participants can share their work and discuss challenges in a brief group critique. Please bring drawing paper and newsprint measuring 14 by 17 inches or larger, 2B and 4B charcoal pencils, a kneaded eraser, and 2B, 4B, and 6B compressed charcoal sticks. Extra supplies are available, and all other supplies are provided. Instruction is led by Jessica, a classically trained fine artist and illustrator with more than 20 years of fine art experience. Registration is $22.

Phoenix Fire Games presents a Kill Team event built around a draft-inspired twist that starts the strategy phase before any dice are rolled. Each player arrives with three distinct Kill Teams, reveals all three to their opponent, secretly removes one of the opponent’s options from contention, then simultaneously selects from their remaining two to lock in the matchup for the round. This format rewards sharp planning, mind games, and confident execution on the tabletop. Come prepared to run all three of your teams and bring everything you need to play them, including rules, operative and faction references, equipment details, tokens, markers, and any other essential materials, since opponents may not have extras. Players without three teams are still welcome, and arrangements can be made in advance to make sure everyone gets a game. Rounds use strict time management with a short window at the start for reveals, bans, and setup, and hard dice down to keep the day moving. Prizes and a wrap-up bring the event to a close.

A weekly teen group offers a safe space to connect, practice social skills, and learn DBT strategies for everyday life. Enrollment is open.

This public workshop helps shooters prepare for the courses of fire encountered in NRL22 matches. There is no match fee.

Youth Alliance for Diversity provides a safe, supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 14 to 20. The program fosters education, social connection, and a sense of community, offering opportunities to meet peers and interact with positive adult role models.
