Presented by TDS Fiber, the 39th annual Nampa Festival of the Arts brings two days of creativity and community to Lakeview Park. More than 200 artisan booths feature jewelry, paintings, sculpture, whimsical yard art, and other handmade work, with a juried art show spotlighting standout talent. Live music and dance performances fill the park, food concessions offer plenty of choices, and free activities for children make it easy for families to spend the day together. Rise & Riffs at Dunkley Music Meridian highlights Yamaha acoustic and electric guitars, including models from the Revstar and Pacifica lines, alongside a new selection of Line 6 amplifiers and pedals. A Yamaha representative will be on site offering demonstrations and giveaways. Attendees can try the instruments and pedals, connect with fellow players, and enter Yamaha giveaways as part of a monthly series that brings the Treasure Valley guitar community together.

Designed for women at any stage of their off-road journey, Trail Blazing Ladies offers a day of learning, conversation, and community at Tully Park. Sessions focus on recovery fundamentals, safe trail practices, preparing your vehicle, and building confidence behind the wheel, with opportunities for hands-on experience. Patty Upton of Outback of Beyond Adventures will deliver the keynote, sharing the story of her world-traveling Jeep, Sand Ship Discovery, and the journeys that earned it a place in the Guinness World Records. This talk is open to all attendees. After the keynote, the schedule continues with separate tracks for women and men. Men’s seminars feature Bill Creech of Overland Explorer, Dustin Baker of Classic 4WD Imports, and Perry Killam of Recon Overland & Off Road. Maddie (Arduesser) Green will serve as MC. Look for practical training, giveaways, and Drop Zone Burgers. Admission is free, and both women and men are welcome to spend the day with the off-road community.

Presented by Idaho Hispanic Foundation, Fortaleza Event Center, and Motto Mortgage Achieves, this free back to school community gathering serves families from Caldwell, nearby areas, and rural communities. Students can pick up backpacks and school supplies, and there will be haircuts and sports physicals to help them start the year prepared and confident. The organizers share appreciation for the sponsors and community partners who make this possible. Businesses, organizations, and agencies can contribute through sponsorships or by donating school supplies, supporting a stronger start for local students and families.

Take part in a guided Paint and Take focused on turning the WizKids Pit Devil miniature into a Krampus-inspired piece. Each participant receives one Pit Devil mini along with all the paints needed. An in-store painting expert, Jake, will lead the group with clear instruction and helpful tips throughout the process. The cost is $30. The Flying Pickle launches its first Courtside Concert, bringing together pickleball, live music, great food, cold drinks, and a summer vibe. Players can take on challenge style courts while EpicUnion performs, billed as the Treasure Valley’s favorite dance party cover band. Newcomers can step onto beginner courts with an instructor available to teach the basics. Food and beverages are available from The Kitchen. Indian Creek Steakhouse hosts the first full band show, bringing a larger sound and plenty of energy with a mix that spans country, rock, and more. Food and cold drinks complement a full evening of live music.

Celebrate the spirit of America’s wild herds with a day devoted to the Branded Open, a showcase highlighting the abilities of privately owned BLM and USFS wild horses and burros as part of Branded Bonanza. The competition welcomes riders and handlers who want to test their skills in a supportive, community focused setting. Awards on the line include an Overall Champion saddle, an Overall Reserve Champion scooter, All-Around Division Champion and Reserve Champion honors, plus first place prizes and medals through fifth. Divisions are designed for a wide range of participants. Adult is open to riders 18 and older and Youth to riders 17 and under, and competitors in these divisions may not cross enter into Walk/Trot or Novice classes. Walk/Trot suits horses or riders who have not competed before or are not yet ready to lope or canter, while Novice is for those in their first year of loping or cantering. Additional opportunities include Burro for youth and adults showing burros of any age, In-Hand for mustangs that are not being ridden, and Specialty divisions for both youth and adult competitors.
