A free community festival offers plentiful food and a carnival for kids, with a large tent in place so the 80s dance party continues even if it rains. Sixteen Candles has performed at this festival for several years and brings the sounds of the 1980s to life. Since 2003 the band has toured internationally and delivers a high energy show that is performed entirely live without prerecorded tracks, letting onstage chemistry shine for a memorable concert experience.

An open-air show on the patio at FitzGerald’s features Environmental Encroachment, a Chicago brass band and performance art collective that moves through the crowd with music, colorful costumes, and playful antics to turn the space into an interactive experience. Focused on inspiring both body and mind through dance, music, and art, the group returns after a Mardi Gras performance in February. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
