Participants learn what pollination is and why it matters as they get to know pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and even bats. Hands-on activities include crafting a small shelter to support a migrating butterfly and searching the grounds during a scavenger hunt focused on pollination. Admission is $8 per person.

At Hidden Oaks Nature Center, little explorers ages 3 to 5 can head outdoors for a monthly, nature-focused program guided by a naturalist. Each session offers hands-on fun with simple games, stories, crafts, short hikes, and other activities that encourage discovery and a little dirt on those hands and knees. The program is free. An adult must attend with each child, and everyone in the group should be included in the registration. Dress for the weather and be prepared for outdoor conditions. Trails feature natural, uneven surfaces with some elevation changes.
