RESET Workshop: Neck & Shoulder Relief Intensive

    148 S Bloomingdale Rd, Bloomingdale · verified Aug 9
    See details

Find relief for tight, stiff, or sore neck and shoulders in an interactive, hands-on workshop focused on reducing tension, improving mobility, and moving more comfortably. Learn why these issues often develop from desk work, screen time, stress, and everyday habits, and discover why stretching on its own may not be enough. Participants are guided step by step through mobility work, self-release techniques, and targeted strengthening to support better posture and smoother movement. Simple movement checks help identify where tension is coming from, and everyone leaves with a practical routine to use at home or at work. Expect takeaways such as less tension, improved mobility, and clearer posture awareness, along with easy exercises and a plan to help keep stiffness from returning. This session is well suited for people who spend long hours at a computer, anyone dealing with recurring tightness or tension headaches, and active adults who want to move more comfortably. The group is intentionally small with space for only 6 participants to keep the experience personal and hands-on. The fee is $49 per person. The workshop takes place at Reset Chiropractic & Wellness Center, and bringing a friend is encouraged.

Enthusiasts from near and far present their ferrets in judged classes that focus on color, pattern, and structure. This gathering is the largest annual fundraiser for the Greater Chicago Ferret Association. Proceeds support homeless ferrets cared for by the GCFA Shelter, founded in 1987. Over the years the organization has rescued more than 10,000 ferrets, and each year approximately 250 to 350 arrive through rescue or relinquishment. Ferrets of all kinds are welcome. To enter the show hall, proof of a distemper vaccination or a titer within the year prior to the show is required. A rabies vaccination is recommended but not mandatory, and ADV testing is not required. This event is not sanctioned by the American Ferret Association, so placements will not count toward AFA points or Ferret of the Year.
