A refreshed take on a community favorite comes to downtown Barrington, where Thursday Night Out fills the BMO Lot and Cook Street with classic cars, local vendors, live music, and family friendly fun. Formerly called Cruise Night, this reimagined gathering celebrates community spirit with something for all ages. Cruise Nights brings classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, and custom rides to Rookies All-American Pub & Grill in Huntley for an easygoing showcase of chrome, horsepower, music, and conversation. Each household may bring one television, flat screen, or computer monitor for this event and must show proof of Algonquin Township residency. Small kitchen appliances and other household electronics are accepted, as well as used motor oil, used cooking oil, and car or marine batteries. Paint recycling is handled through a free State of Illinois program, and residents can check that program for nearby drop-off locations.

McHenry County Dog Daze transforms Kaper Park into a celebration of dogs, with free admission and free parking.
