Young artists ages 6 to 12 can explore a month of creative projects that build skills and spark imagination through hands-on artmaking. September features drawing, painting, clay, collage, and music-inspired activities. Projects range from playful alien self portraits and tiny clay fairy gardens to works influenced by Frida Kahlo, recycled instruments, paper mosaics, a collaborative outer space mural, cartoon design, and drawings shaped by different musical styles. This class is part of an ongoing semester program, with the flexibility to participate month by month. Families may choose Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or both to create a schedule that fits their needs. Artist Shannon Cook leads each session, which also incorporates movement, and a snack is provided.

Weekly trivia at Lincoln Square Lounge features seven rounds of brain-teasing questions meant to challenge and entertain. Participation is free, and winners earn prizes.

The Historic Lincoln Square Theater hosts a powerhouse night of rock presented by 106.7 The Fox, featuring British glam pioneers The Sweet with special guest Tommy’s RockTrip. Founder Steve Priest later reignited the group with drummer Richie Onori and keyboardist Stevie Stewart to honor the legacy, and the current lineup brings Stewart and Onori together with vocalist Ari Kamin, guitarist Jimmy Burkard, and keyboardist Dave Schulz. Axl Rose has publicly cited Sweet alongside Queen as a major influence. Opening the show, Tommy’s RockTrip is led by drummer Tommy Clufetos and delivers a high-energy tribute to heavy metal and hard rock, focusing on the classic catalogs of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. Drawing on Clufetos’s years with Osbourne’s solo band and his role as the final drummer for Black Sabbath’s farewell tour, the set channels authentic power and often nods to Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, and Ted Nugent.

His rise spans stand-up comedy, viral social media moments, and the Not-So-Rich-And-Famous Tour, and his punchlines keep the laughter going long after the stories wrap. The Agape Ringers, a selective handbell ensemble recognized for energetic, precise performances, bring a lively and varied program that includes Clair de Lune, Slavonic Dance, original handbell works Nocturnal Fantasy and Overdrive, and Broadway selections For Good and Defying Gravity. Sixteen musicians perform on more than 200 handbells and chimes, weaving together classical favorites, sacred pieces, and popular tunes in a program designed to engage listeners. Under the direction of founding member KC Congdon, the ensemble has shared its beautifully crafted presentations with audiences throughout North America and beyond, highlighting the artistry and versatility of handbell music.
