This single day event will be held in Joliet, Illinois on infield turf. The format features 24 coed teams with 12 player rosters consisting of 9 men and 3 women, accommodating up to 216 men and 72 women. Additional details and registration information will be posted this week, and sign up sheets for both drafts are expected this week as well. Information on entry fees, early bird discounts, and prize packages will also be shared this week. A senior draft is planned, with the date still to be determined, and a separate men’s day is noted along with a 50s senior draft that will take 8 teams in a 3gg format.

To protect the colony during nesting season, access is restricted, so wildlife viewing is available only during designated public hours. Volunteers and staff will be on hand at the viewing platform and the visitor center to answer questions. This free program welcomes all ages and does not require registration. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope for the best views, and use the preserve parking lot. For the protection of this designated nature preserve, dogs and bicycles are not allowed in the Heron Rookery. The viewing platform is reached by a crushed limestone trail that can be uneven. Anyone who needs an auxiliary aid or service should submit a request at least 48 hours before the program.
