The set draws on classic rock staples like AC/DC, GNR, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi and 38 Special, pairs them with country favorites from Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton, and adds soulful and pop selections from Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Jessie J and P!nk, with the chance of a Beastie Boys moment. Ranging from Alicia Keys all the way to the Black Keys, the lineup aims to please a wide mix of music fans. Admission is $5.

Set in Schaumburg Town Square, this summer dance concert spotlights salsa with live music by Trabuco Salsa. The evening starts with a complimentary lesson led by instructors from Schaumburg Arthur Murray Dance Studio, then continues with live music and open dancing. Lawn chairs are welcome. At the Al Larson Cultural Center, Schaumburg Summer Theatre celebrates its 36th annual production with Disney’s High School Musical, featuring talented local high school and college performers. The East High story comes to life onstage with familiar tunes, energetic choreography, and family friendly fun. The book is by David Simpatico, with original songs by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, Ray Cham, Greg Cham and Andrew Seeley, Randy Peterson and Kevin Quinn, Andy Dodd and Adam Watts, Bryan Louiselle, David N. Lawrence and Faye Greenberg, and Jamie Houston. Music is adapted, arranged, and produced by Bryan Louiselle, and the show is based on the Disney Channel Original Movie written by Peter Barsocchini. Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International, with authorized performance materials supplied by MTI. Schaumburg Summer Theatre is a program of the Village of Schaumburg.
