The 17th annual Golf Classic benefiting Tee It Up for the Troops, Central Illinois brings the community together at Mt. Hawley Country Club to raise funds for local organizations that support those who serve or have served in the United States Armed Forces. The day includes a complimentary veterans-only golf outing in the morning and a sponsor-focused Golf Classic in the afternoon. Participants from both portions come together for lunch, an opening ceremony for the sponsor event, and an evening dinner that welcomes guests. Tee It Up for the Troops began in 2005 with a mission to honor, remember, respect, and support all who have served.
