Emotional Explorers Club is a free six-week group for children ages 8 to 10 that helps participants recognize, understand, and express their emotions in healthy ways. Through art, games, movement, storytelling, and other interactive activities, children build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and grow in confidence as they navigate everyday ups and downs. Participants practice identifying and naming feelings, expressing them creatively, communicating in healthy ways, and using strategies for managing difficult moments, all while connecting with peers in a supportive setting. Space is limited to 10 participants. This family-centered program includes a concurrent Emotional Explorers Parent Circle that a parent or caregiver is required to attend, giving families a shared emotional language and practical tools to use at home. The group is facilitated by Megan Fields, QMHP, and takes place at Nave Wellness Center.
