Celebrating 50 years, the Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival brings pioneer-era life to the Huntington County Fairgrounds with interactive history, hearty food, and activities for all ages. Parking is free. Admission is handled at the gatehouses and accepts cash only, with no advance sales. General admission is $5 per person. Students from elementary through college who present ID pay $1. Children under 5 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Vendor, sponsor, and volunteer opportunities are available during this milestone year.

Led by Eva Webb, this monthly community drum circle at Lake Clare invites people to slow down, listen, and share rhythm together in a welcoming setting. Newcomers and experienced drummers are equally welcome. Participants may bring a drum, shaker, hand percussion instrument, or any simple rhythm maker. Around 30 extra percussion instruments will be available, so attendance does not depend on owning a drum. It is also fine to sit back, listen, and enjoy the peaceful lakeside atmosphere. The gathering meets at the Pavilion at the Fitness Park at Lake Clare. This is a free community event, and optional donations help L4L Community Studios keep programs affordable and donation based. The circle supports L4L’s mission to foster safe, nourishing spaces for mind, body, heart, and spirit through faith, fitness, food, fellowship, and fun on land and water.

Gather under the night sky for a four-part series honoring each of the next four full moons. Hosted through Acacia’s Journeys with carpooling to Gilbert Lake, these gatherings focus on connection, meditation, drumming, intention work, and stargazing. Expect a welcoming drum circle, a guided meditation with an energetic reset, time to learn constellations and their stories, and space for grounding within a supportive spiritual community. Optional Harvest Full Moon readings are offered with only three spots available. The full moon is celebrated as a time of illumination and completion that can heighten intuition, reveal hidden truths, and invite a meaningful reset. To feel comfortable, bring water, a blanket or lawn chair, a journal, a flashlight, and any sacred or comforting item. Drums or other instruments are welcome. Swimming is an option, so bring swimwear, a towel, and a float if desired. Space is limited each month. Admission is $25 per person due at the gathering, or $80 for the four-month series.

Participants are invited to put away phones, smartwatches, and other digital distractions to be fully present with nature and one another. The experience opens with a guided sunrise meditation that encourages a slower pace, a calmer mind, and a renewed sense of inner connection. Afterward, the group gathers for an open circle where you may share reflections, ask questions about the practice, explore spiritual topics, or simply listen. All levels are welcome, and there is no obligation to speak. It is equally welcome to spend the remaining time sitting by the water, journaling, or reflecting in your own way. The intention is to cultivate a caring, respectful space where curiosity is invited, experiences are honored, and personal growth can unfold at a comfortable pace. Bring a chair or blanket, dress for the weather, and consider bringing a journal or a warm drink to enjoy after meditating. The cost is $20 per person. Arrive as you are and leave feeling centered and connected.

This monthly 3D archery shoot features 30 McKenzie targets arranged across the Izaak Walton grounds. The fee is $10 per shooter, and kids participate at no cost. It is open to all. A certified instructor provides youth instruction at every shoot, and children's bows are available to borrow for free.
