Players sign up individually and are placed on teams, rotating so you team up with at least two different teammates each set. The event uses round robin pool play with no bracket, and champions are decided by total sets won. Matches feature four on the court, two men and two women, played on coed net height, and a minimum number of matches is guaranteed. Rules include no open hand tips, servers rotating in order, and directional blocking allowed. Setting doubles are called at the A level and not called at the B level. Standard sand rules apply, with additional details covered during the captains meeting. Outside food and drinks are not permitted. The entry fee is $20 per player. Whether aiming for the top spot or just looking for a friendly run on the sand, the rotating format makes it easy to meet new people and enjoy the game.
