CECA spotlights its long-running love for Rocky Horror with a production sprinkled with nods to earlier stagings. The cult favorite follows Brad and Janet, whose car trouble in a storm leads them to the mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As events spiral, the couple encounters a lively cast that includes a rocking biker and a creepy butler, while big dance sequences and driving rock songs unveil Frank-N-Furter’s newest creation, a muscular figure named Rocky. Signature moments like Sweet Transvestite and the Time Warp connect this staging to the show’s Broadway lineage, from the original 1975 production to the 25th anniversary revival in 2001 and the 50th anniversary revival in 2026, with playful Easter eggs honoring past CECA productions.
