    Moon Over Buffalo

Starline Room Dinner Theatre, 49 Monk St, Stoughton · verified Jul 31
    See details

At the Paris Cabaret Starlihne Dinner Theatre in Stoughton, a cabaret frames a whirlwind stage comedy set in 1953. The story follows the Hays family, once prominent Broadway performers, their daughter who is ready to step away from show business, her sweetheart, and their colleagues as they fight to keep a repertory theatre going in Buffalo, New York. A sudden shot at movie fame sends everything into a tailspin, sparking romantic entanglements, backstage mishaps, mixed up productions, and lively musical moments. The singing waitstaff, the Starliners, add classics from the Great American Songbook with selections tied to Irving Berlin, Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Richard Rodgers. This limited engagement blends play and cabaret, and the venue offers free parking along with an accessible, air conditioned setting.
