From there it flows along Newbury Street, Massachusetts Avenue, and Copley before turning north for a fuel and restroom break in Lynn and a quick bite of street food. The ride continues with a scenic coastal stretch through Swampscott and Marblehead on the way to Salem, arriving at Salem Common by the Witch Museum in daylight for some time on the grounds. After fueling in Salem and a regrouping stop in Revere, the day wraps up at TD Garden with group photos and dinner options nearby, where everyone can choose to stay or head out. Trunk or Treat returns to benefit Bridgewater’s 4th of July parade and fireworks. As the Burning House case unfolds, attendees listen to testimony, examine evidence, and vote at decisive moments that can alter the course of the trial, with the final verdict determined by the crowd. This is not a passive show... the justice delivered comes from the people in the seats. The case centers on wedding planner Mary Barrett and her boyfriend, firefighter Danny Cullen. After Mary breaks years of sobriety during a party and a fierce argument follows, Danny is later found dead and his home is destroyed by fire. Angry messages from Mary, traces of accelerant in her car, and a night she can barely recall all seem incriminating. Yet unanswered questions muddy the picture. Danny suffered a serious head injury before the fire, key security footage is missing, and the arson investigator, Mikey Doyle, was Danny’s close friend and had clashed with him over secret messages with Mary.
