Travel by rail through charming Cape villages as romantic melodies play in the background. As the scenery drifts by, enjoy a freshly prepared four-course gourmet dinner served on crisp white table linens in classic railway fashion. The gentle cadence of the tracks and relaxed atmosphere accompany every course.

Vocalist and pianist Robbie Pate joins the Cape Cod Jazz Trio for an evening of jazz shaped by wide-ranging experience. Educated at Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, Pate moves easily among jazz, pop, and R&B. His performances span Brooklyn venues, Tokyo jazz clubs, Fenway Park, and the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. He has toured with the Alexey Podymkin Quartet and the Yuki Futami Trio in Japan, performed at Fenway with the Zac Brown Band, holds a music residency at Tin Pan Alley in Provincetown, appears with The Matt Savage Groove Experiment, and teaches ensemble musicians at Berklee and the Longy School of Music. Sharing the bandstand are Fred Boyle on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass, and Bart Weisman on drums, with Weisman known for curating many jazz events on the Cape. Tickets are $35, or $30 for Members.

At Labyrinth in Barnstable, Ibiza’s 90s and 00s anthems go head to head in a celebration of the island’s golden years. The soundtrack spans euphoric builds like Café Del Mar and Children alongside hands-in-the-air staples including Insomnia, Lola’s Theme, and Put Your Hands Up for Detroit. Expect glowsticks and giveaways to light up the floor, two decades of iconic tracks played back to back, and a sunset-inspired daytime atmosphere that channels the energy of classic Ibiza nights.
