At Nomans in Oak Bluffs, a community run and walk celebrates The Inkwell Mile’s arrival on the island. Participants can choose a 5K run or a 1-mile walk and move alongside neighbors of all ages and ability levels, with space for walkers and strollers. Afterward, there will be light refreshments and time to connect. The Inkwell Mile refers to a one-mile stretch in historic Oak Bluffs, created to encourage movement, connection, and celebration of local culture. More Than A Mile is a Black, woman-owned production, marketing, and creative agency led by women with deep experience shaping culture, using running as a medium and centering community in its work.

Oak Bluffs Open Market returns to a park by Oak Bluffs Harbor with a fun day of browsing and selling. The market features vintage goods, handmade creations, and other one-of-a-kind treasures, and it also accommodates food vendors who have the required Board of Health certificates. With low vendor fees, it offers an easy way to showcase products. A coffee vendor spot remains open.

Live music by the sea fills Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs. Pick up a picnic in town, browse local shops, and take a harbor stroll, then bring a chair for seating while The Lunarchs perform. The series also features Serendipity, Jaywalkers, The Outskirts, The Dukes Duo, and Blueswitch Blues Band. Attendees can take in the ocean breeze and the sounds of the park.

At the 5 Point Acupuncture Community Clinic, the National Acupuncture Detox Association five point protocol is provided in a shared community environment. In Tisbury, artist Barney Zeitz welcomes the public into the studio to share recent creations alongside pieces still taking shape. The presentation features the first centerpieces made in thirteen years as well as an owl rendered at half scale, offering a clear look at current directions and the creative process.

Make music, sing, and enjoy a relaxed jam at West Tisbury Public Library in West Tisbury. This long-running group has been playing together for more than ten years and typically draws anywhere from eight to thirty participants. People of every age and skill level are welcome.
