No cover. Boston-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Zion Rodman brings a soulful voice, vivid lyrics, and intricate guitar work that blend folk and rock into a melodic, engaging set. His shows balance introspection with energy, whether he appears solo or with his band, and often connect with fans of Dawes, Steely Dan, The Band, and Pinegrove. His EP The Lives I’ve Kept drew a sold-out release celebration and earned warm praise in the Boston Globe as a cozy antidote to winter. Earlier projects include You’re Invited, Did Not Wake Up Today, and Whatever Happens, and he has recently shared the single Living in Hell from the full-length The Acquisition Of All Things. Beyond his own songs, he engineers sound for The Burren and SoFar Sounds and supports the local scene by cohosting open mics with Christian Colegrove at Medford Brewing Co as well as weekly gatherings at McCarthys and Toad.
