She founded and leads the dementia support program in the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry and provides group and individual psychotherapy that strengthens caregiver resilience and supports people living with dementia. This talk is part of Boston Village’s 25th Anniversary Speaker Series, Aging in Place: Living Your Best Life @ Home. The weekend takes place at VFW Post 529 in Somerville and begins with an intermediate and above Spintensive, then continues with a Saturday afternoon intensive, evening drop-in workshops, a beginner class with Megan Souza, and a social dance with DJ Maxwell Thew. Sessions labeled intermediate and above are intended for dancers who are comfortable with foundational West Coast Swing elements such as side passes, push break, tucks, whips, inside and outside turns, and a starter step. All other classes are open to everyone. Pricing options include a full weekend pass at $110 early bird or $125 full price, covering all Friday and Saturday activities. A Saturday full day pass is $80 early bird or $100 full price and includes the afternoon intensive, two evening workshops, and the social dance. A la carte choices are available: Saturday intensive only for $70 early bird or $85, Friday Spintensive only for $60 early bird or $75, a Saturday evening pass with two workshops and the dance for $30 early bird or $40, a beginner workshop with the dance for $20, or the dance alone for $15. The Sea Wych Salem hosts a hands-on Sea Witch Ball Workshop in Salem’s Witch City, sharing the history and lore of the witch ball and guiding participants to craft a personalized piece intended to protect a home or workspace, welcome joy, dispel negativity, or simply serve as a beautiful keepsake. Each creation is further infused with ocean elements. Advance purchase is required. Walk-ins are not accepted because ball toppers and kits are prepared specifically for this workshop. Tickets must be purchased by noon on the day before the event, either online at the ticket link or in-shop, and sales close at that time. General Admission is $65 per person plus a $1.63 processing fee. This option provides all materials and supplies, including crystal adorned toppers made by The Sea Wych Salem, a concise overview of witch ball history, a guided meditation with a brief ritual to help set intention, and an introduction to the use of herbs, sea vegetation, and color theory in sea witchcraft. It also includes the opportunity to shop privately before or after the workshop with a 10 percent discount on all store items. General Admission plus Ritual Kit is $85 per person plus a $2.13 processing fee and adds a complete ritual kit valued at $40. Kits are sourced, foraged, and assembled by The Sea Wych Salem and contain a shell, a crystal, and a chime candle aligned to the ritual, herbs, salt, and sea vegetation selected for that working, as well as sea glass, an abalone chip, charms, and a full written ritual created by The Sea Wych Salem. Attendees can choose a ritual kit at checkout or request a custom option by selecting Other and describing their preference in the comments.

An all-ages event featuring Sweet Pill pairs the experience with meaningful community support. Through a partnership with PLUS1, $1 from every ticket will benefit Calling All Crows and its work engaging music fans and artists to advance feminist movements. Calling All Crows will also deliver Mental Wellness Allyship Training for the band, focusing on recognizing and responding to challenges that can arise on the road and providing shared tools and protocols so they can better support one another throughout the tour. In addition, twenty-five cents from each ticket will go to The Shout Syndicate, a volunteer-driven Boston effort that raises funds for youth-led arts programs at proven nonprofit creative youth development organizations in Greater Boston. The Shout Syndicate is based at The Boston Foundation and collaborates with the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture through the Boston Creates plan.

Cinema Salem presents an interactive anniversary celebration of the movie Clue, complete with a screening and a costume contest. Costumes are encouraged, and the evening features quote along moments and touches of Salem history. Last year’s Clue night sold out, and this return brings back the participatory fun. Designed for mystery lovers, the format is more interactive than a typical screening. Attendees can laugh, cheer and clap as the story unfolds, pause to size up suspects and clues, then submit final theories for a chance to win whodunnit-themed prizes. A round of WHODUNNIT Bingo runs during the show. Content is rated PG-13, and doors open 30 minutes before the screening. After the film, a brief Clue Inspiration Story mini walking tour is planned, followed by an after party at Old Main St Pub, with details to be confirmed.

Every ticket contributes 25 cents to The Shout Syndicate, a Boston-based volunteer-run fundraising effort that supports youth-led arts programs at proven nonprofit creative youth development organizations in Greater Boston.
