Boston Cornhole hosts free weekly cornhole on The Green at 3rd Ave in Burlington, with a four match guarantee and a format that welcomes beginners and seasoned players alike. Prizes go to the top two teams, and weekly winners each receive a $50 gift card from 3rd Ave. Registration is managed through Scoreholio, and season standings are tracked using Scoreholio Seasons. In case of inclement weather, a same day decision is made about holding or canceling play, with any updates posted on the Boston Cornhole website. Across the season, any player who earns a total of 10 podium finishes qualifies for the Champions Singles Tournament and the chance to win a set of cornhole boards. The Caribbean Street Market and Community Growth Consultant, Inc. present their fifth annual back to school pop-up shop, a community gathering designed to support families as a new school year begins. More than 300 backpacks filled with supplies will be distributed to local kids. Each child must be registered, and distribution is first come, first served. Families can enjoy free grilled food, a bounce house, jumbo outdoor games, and a kids activity table with bracelet making, painting, and other crafts. Shoppers can browse local vendors offering food, desserts, clothing, slushies, crafts, and more. Admission for shoppers is free, free street parking is available, and restrooms are on site for both vendors and attendees. Community Growth Consultant, Inc. will also provide one free bag of groceries per family. School supply donations are welcome to help support the giveaway.
