A quick health and safety talk will be given before getting started. Please bring your own gloves. Equipment such as pickers, hoops, bags, gloves, and high vis will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a hat or coat if needed. Remember a water bottle to stay hydrated. Participants under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Experience a candlelit celebration of Fleetwood Mac as a string trio performs a classical tribute at First Parish Church in Kingston. Presented by Lumos, known for crafting immersive concerts in remarkable settings around the world, this event is part of a broader series taking place across the United States, and a donation is made to a different charity each month. The program features beloved songs including Landslide, Dreams, Everywhere, Go Your Own Way, Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy, I Don’t Want to Know, Little Lies, Rhiannon, Second Hand News, The Chain, You Make Lovin’ Fun, Don’t Stop, and Songbird. Take part in an official Pokémon Trading Card Game tournament in the Standard format at Round Table Games. Participants step into the role of trainers, send Pokémon into play, and use attacks to overcome their opponents. Entry is $5. Every player receives a prize pack while supplies last and earns 10 RTG Reward points for each round played, with Knights receiving double stamps. Tom Rush, a pioneering voice in American folk, brings a career of more than five decades to this performance. Audiences know him for songs such as "No Regrets," "Circle Game," "Remember Song," "Urge for Going," and "Merrimack County." His work helped drive the folk revival of the 1960s and its resurgence in the 1980s and 1990s, and artists including James Taylor, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty, and Garth Brooks have named him as an influence. His early recordings introduced wider audiences to the songwriting of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, and James Taylor, and his Club 47 concerts highlighted emerging talents like Nanci Griffith and Shawn Colvin. Magic: Commander Night at Round Table Games spotlights the multiplayer Commander format of Magic: The Gathering. Players build around a chosen legendary creature and a 99 card deck that uses only the colors of that commander, with only one copy of each card other than basic lands. At Pinewoods Camp, Inc., the new SEA Session shares a wide-ranging taste of CDSS music, dance, and song with a maritime twist. Over a long weekend, days feature workshops and jams, while evenings bring dances and celebrations. Offerings include singing, English and American dance, and social dance forms such as contra, bal folk, and morris. There are also sessions on vocal technique and instrument skills. Maritime repertoire like sea shanties is highlighted, and there may even be opportunities to carry the singing out onto the water in boats. The focus is on dance, song, music, camaraderie, and group spirit, set beside Long Pond.

At The Shoppes at Village Landing in Plymouth, MA, a season of concerts brings together small-town charm, a lively waterfront setting, and live sets beneath the evening sky. Bring your own chair, pick up food from nearby eateries, and enjoy Thursday evening performances throughout the summer.

The Antonia and Vladimir Kulaev Cultural Heritage Fund presents a Lobby Series performance that highlights local and regional talent in an easygoing, close-up atmosphere. For this occasion, the lobby is turned into a 70 seat lounge that puts the music front and center. Featured artist Keegan James Blood is a Boston-based singer and songwriter whose path has moved from power pop roots to a blend of Americana influences. As a teenager he led the Vermont band Stag Line, which saw its single “I’m Much Better” spin regularly on local rock radio. He later spent five years in Boston’s underground scene at the helm of Red Mill, releasing multiple EPs and LPs and playing energetic shows throughout New England, and he is a Berklee College of Music graduate. Beginning in 2019 he reshaped his sound around alternative country, power pop, and roots music, releasing the single “Way Back In” following a mid-pandemic recording trip to Nashville. His debut solo album, “Brand New Dance,” recorded largely in Philadelphia with engineer Jeff Zeigler, weaves folk, country, and rock with barbed lyrics and melodies that linger, and it arrived in late 2024. He has also been performing around Boston and New England with Alex Formento on pedal steel and Joe Everett on upright bass from the bluegrass group Pretty Saro. The trio recorded an album mixed by Dan Bui of Twisted Pine for release in early 2026, capturing the live spark of their recent Boston area shows.
