Participation is required each season, and participants should complete the form linked in this event. During a brief one-on-one placement, singers share a short prepared song, such as a simple folk tune, and complete pitch-matching, range checks, and basic rhythm or sight-singing. Placements happen on select occasions throughout the year, with individual times shared in advance of the placement you choose. Mid-season placements can be arranged individually, and students who are accepted mid-year may be invited to begin in the spring semester. Additional opportunities are also offered for those interested in starting with the second concert cycle. If scheduled sessions are not workable, an alternate time can be arranged.
