Benedictine’s Chrome City car and motorcycle show raises funds to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism, helping them pursue their fullest potential. The event highlights custom and classic cars, hot rods, and motorcycles, and includes a mile-long cruise along the lane on the Benedictine campus. Spectators are welcome at no charge. Vehicle entry is $35 with online registration or $40 when registering on the day, and each registration includes a commemorative T-shirt. The first 50 cars to register will also receive a car plaque. A cruise aboard the PATRIOT offers views of traditional log canoe racing on the Miles River. From the deck, participants see these distinctive Chesapeake vessels under sail while experienced sailors describe the tactics, traditions, and action as it unfolds. It is suitable for longtime fans and for those new to this time honored tradition. The cruise follows PATRIOT’s standard cancellation and refund policies. If the races are canceled or the schedule changes, the boat still travels the Miles River and an experienced log canoe sailor provides insights throughout the trip.

Cult Classic Brewing hosts a first-year car show raising funds for Amy’s Army. Cars, trucks, and bikes of any make or model are invited to participate, with a $15 registration fee for cars and motorcycles. Expect rows of standout vehicles, vendor booths, raffles, trophies, and family-friendly activities, all in support of a local charity. Redline Performance and Chesapeake Classic Restorations are sponsoring the trophies and taking part.
