Spanning four sessions, it focuses on practical, plant-forward habits that fit into everyday meals. Every class offers useful resources, a cooking demonstration, and a chance to sample the food. Registration covers the complete four-part series, and participants are encouraged to attend each session. The course is presented by Cathy Chapman, Food for Life educator.

    An evening with contemplative author, speaker, and spiritual director Carl McColman focuses on a spirituality that embraces the queer community and welcomes everyone. Drawing from Christian mysticism, Celtic traditions, and contemplative practice, he shares how ancient wisdom can meet contemporary seekers through silence, prayer, and a generous vision of divine love. Rooted in the Christian contemplative stream, his perspective centers the sacred dignity of every person, with particular care for LGBTQ+ affirmation. McColman is the author of many books on spirituality and offers teaching, retreats, and spiritual direction in person and online. Open to all in Cumberland, MD.
