The drive passes farms, forests, and significant Underground Railroad sites in Caroline County, concluding at River Run Cruises in Denton. From there, River City Cruise Co. leads a two-hour pontoon excursion on the upper Choptank River, where downriver landings once supported escapes by boat and shallow stretches upstream offered crossings for those moving north toward Sandtown, Delaware.

At Caroline Post 29, bingo features a $25 entry covering all regular games. Doors open before play begins. Early Bird rounds come first, followed by the regular session. Food will be available to buy, and all are welcome.
