Early registration is available for club members and non-members, and a regular entry fee applies after the early period. Grandmasters, International Masters, and FIDE Masters may be eligible for free entry under specific conditions, including playing all four rounds with no byes or withdrawal, and a deduction from prizes may apply. Players may request up to two half point byes if they are set before the second round. On-site registration can lead to an automatic first round bye or unusual pairings. Once the first round is paired or begins, no refunds or credits are issued, and no shows forfeit their entry fees. A forfeit of the first round results in withdrawal unless the tournament director is notified in advance. Boards and pieces are provided, though clocks may be limited, so bringing a personal clock is encouraged. Tiebreaks follow USCF preference using Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, and Opposition Cumulative score. A strict electronic device policy is in effect, where a device that is on or makes a noise results in forfeiture, and a device that is off results in a time penalty on the first violation and forfeiture on the second. Participation is capped at 50 players. Free parking is available behind the church.
