    This 5k supports the University of Maryland Fellowship of Christian Athletes and counts toward the Year-Long 5k & Back of the Pack Series as well as the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available for anyone who cannot attend in person. Please note that organizer promo or discount codes are not applicable for this event. Participants receive chip timing and a technical event shirt. Medals are awarded to the top three men and the top three women in each age group, with divisions of 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Shirt sizes may be limited for late or race day registration, and packet pickup is available at the event. The course features two laps around the lake and includes a water station near mile 1.6. Restrooms are located close to the start and finish. Live results will be available online and through a QR code on site, and final standings with series points will be posted afterward. Event photos captured by staff are shared on Facebook following the race, and a weekly social media challenge highlights favorite posts for a chance to receive 50 percent off a future race. The race is planned for all weather, with any updates or changes communicated by email and on social media.
