This all-level Body Soul Flow Yoga class takes place outdoors with views of Lake Michigan and fresh air. The practice is trauma-informed, soulful, and anatomically sound, encouraging meaningful growth without overwhelming the nervous system. Those with more experience can explore deeper layers of the practice. Participants may want to bring a mat, water, and a towel, and friends are welcome. The class is free of charge, with optional donations supporting Journey of Hope Yoga, a nonprofit offering free weekly classes for all. Online sign-up is recommended to receive weather-related cancellation updates. The class is led by Ria Anastasia Nieboer, C-IAYT, RYT500/E-RYT200, LMSW, ADS, and EMDR-certified. She provides outpatient care for complex trauma and one-on-one three-day intensives for high-performing professionals, using EMDR, mindfulness, parts work, polyvagal approaches, and somatic modalities to support steadiness, freedom, and authenticity.
