NeuroLab at EagleEye Performance Vision is a movement-centered homeschool co-op in Zeeland, Michigan that helps children strengthen the foundations of learning. Rather than adding more worksheets, it complements existing curricula by building the visual and brain-body skills that support reading, math, writing, and sustained focus. This is not therapy and it is not a reading program. Students work in small groups and rotate through structured stations that encourage movement, observation, adaptation, and problem-solving. Inspired by the developmental principles of Jean Piaget, the experience emphasizes active exploration and interaction with the environment to grow intelligence. The focus includes eye tracking, coordination, visual memory, spatial awareness, balance, and attention. Designed for kids ages 6 to 10, the full six-week program costs $240, and enrollment is limited to maintain a focused, supportive setting.

This event highlights the bounty that grows here, from cherries, apples, peaches and grapes to blueberries, pumpkins, asparagus and celery, and much more. It also spotlights a thriving market for locally sourced foods, featuring cheeses, poultry, sauces, jams, breads and chocolates, along with the influence of Michigan-born companies such as Kellogg’s, Better Made Potato Chips, American Spoon Foods, Biggby Coffee, Jiffy Mix and Kowalski meats that have helped shape the state’s food culture. This gravel group ride centers on the OG Gravelicious, a 19 mile route on the gravel roads north of Zeeland. With daylight fading, the Graveloko route is on hold for the season, and the Gravelicious direction will alternate. Everyone rolls out together, then riders naturally spread out as the pace builds. The front group typically rides above 20 mph, and those averaging 15 to 20 mph can expect company. A shorter option, the 12 mile Gravelito, offers a condensed version of the main loop with typical speeds around 10 to 15 mph. Maps will be available. There are no official ride leaders or sweepers, so participants should be familiar with the route.

Farm Girl Flea Market at Hudsonville Fair Grounds spans two consecutive days, providing a relaxed window to experience the market at a comfortable pace.

The fall edition of Farmgirl Flea Market marks ten years of pickers and makers with a two day marketplace featuring a juried roster of more than 200 vendors from across the United States. Explore indoor and outdoor booths stocked with farmhouse inspired decor, antiques, vintage finds, artisan goods, jewelry, boutique apparel, Michigan made products, baked treats, and giftable handmade pieces. Expect classic campers, upcycled furniture, live music, food trucks and concessions, and a tent serving beer and wine. General admission is 10 dollars on the first day and 7 dollars on the second day, with free entry for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online or for cash at the gate, and a weekend pass covering both days is available online for 15 dollars. Park Fest is the Park Theatre Foundation’s annual fundraiser celebrating the historic Park Theatre. Formerly known as Parktoberfest, this two-day gathering honors the venue and the community that continues to sustain it. It suits detail-focused planners, crafty minds, and anyone who prefers a little structure with their coffee. Coffee is available.
