The Oshtemo Community Center is served by Metro Bus Route 11 on the Stadium/KVCC lime green line. Check the route map for stop details, and consider Metro Link or Metro Connect for additional transportation options. A separate beginners mat yoga option is also available for a $5 drop-in.
Book Discussion: Chasing Beauty
Share a conversation about Chasing Beauty: The Life of Isabella Stewart Gardner, an insightful biography by Natalie Dykstra that traces Gardner’s remarkable story. The book reflects on a life filled with passion as well as sorrow, highlights her close relationships and travels around the world, and explores her discerning approach to collecting, influences that helped bring about the Stewart Gardner Museum. This discussion is free and open to everyone, and it will be held in person at the Meader Fine Arts Library. Reading the book ahead of time is not required, though it can enrich the conversation. The author will not attend unless noted otherwise. Preregistration is encouraged.
