Musicians Night at White’s Bar spotlights local creativity with a welcoming stage for singers, instrumentalists, comedians, and poets. Performers of all experience levels share original work or favorite pieces, and the crowd enjoys a lively atmosphere focused on live entertainment and community support for local talent.

At the Dow Event Center, Brit Floyd presents a large-scale tribute to Pink Floyd that pairs detailed musicianship with an immersive display of lights, lasers, and video. The performance spans well known songs and deep tracks, echoing the sound, feeling, and visual sweep of the original concerts. This tour includes a complete rendition of The Dark Side of the Moon with songs like Time and Money, plus selections from The Wall such as Hey You, Comfortably Numb, and Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2. The set also reaches into other eras, from Wish You Were Here to The Division Bell. A VIP experience is available that adds a meet and greet and soundcheck visit, a tour pass and lanyard, time to browse merchandise, a private soundcheck with two additional Pink Floyd songs not in the main show, and chances to speak with the band, get items signed, and take photos. Downtown Midland welcomes Post Fontaine to wrap up this year’s Commons Live Music Series. Music will take place on the Pedestrian Plaza Stage. Bring a chair or settle into an outdoor table, pick up food and drinks from a favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the show. Post Fontaine is a West Michigan variety band known for a rich sound and engaging performances. Expect classics from the 1970s by Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Eagles, Steely Dan, and the Doobie Brothers, heartland rock of the 1980s from Mellencamp and Springsteen, and 1990s alternative favorites from Pearl Jam to the Smashing Pumpkins for a nostalgic yet fresh listen. Formed in 2018, with the current lineup coming together in 2023, the group features musicians with notable individual careers who blend experience and passion across rock and diverse influences. The RockShow revisits 80s favorites with a Journey tribute alongside a rock and roll set. Tommy K leads with vocals inspired by Steve Perry, joined by Dana Osmun on guitars and vocals, Levi Goodwin on bass and vocals, and Chris Bartnikowski on drums and vocals. The series is organized by the Downtown Development Authority, presented by Dow Credit Union, with support from Mercantile Bank, Oxygen Lounge, Tri-Star Trust, and Three Rivers Corporation.
