Cypher Rotunda returns to Mall of America with a high-energy showcase that gathers competitors from across the country for what is billed as Minnesota’s biggest street dance battle. The day features a 2-on-2 breaking division open to all ages with a $1,000 prize, along with a 3-on-3 open styles bracket awarding $1,500. Prelims lead into a main event that runs from the top eight through the finals. Breaking is judged by Physicx for the main event from the top eight to finals, Boogie B for prelims, and Mass and El Nino for both prelims and the main event. The open styles panel includes NO1NE, Hans, and Zeku. AMS serves as MC. Pre-registration is required, and sponsorship interest is welcome.

Join Camp Fire Minnesota for Week 9 of its Wild Wonder STEM Camp. Campers will take part in hands-on experiments and nature-based activities, with dedicated time each day for the week’s STEM focus in addition to the regular day camp programming. Check-in runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM, with pick-up from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. A closing ceremony is held Friday at 4:00 PM. Kids ages 7 to 12 spend a week building their own ukulele bands, learning songs they can keep playing at home, and preparing for a concert for family and friends at the end of the week. Campers collaborate to choose a band name, design a poster and logo, and rehearse together with guidance from instructors. Each day balances music practice with movement, creative projects, and outdoor play at Bryant Park, with short breaks and snack and lunch times built in. Activities include singing, music-themed games, simple songwriting and lyric exercises, and group rhythm challenges, and students are supervised during all indoor and outdoor portions. Ukuleles are supplied for use during camp, and no prior experience is required. Please send a packed lunch, a water bottle, morning and afternoon snacks, comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor activities, and sunscreen for outdoor periods. Enrollment is limited to 12 campers and requires at least 6 to run. Tuition is $299, with a $125 deposit that reserves a spot and is applied toward the total. If minimum enrollment is not met, families may switch to another week or receive a full refund, and the remaining balance is due before camp begins. The emphasis throughout is on confidence, creativity, teamwork, and building friendships in a supportive setting.

Spend a day serving at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen, where volunteers will pack meals across two sessions with a lunch break in between. A motor coach will be available from St. Paul’s Church parking lot, with seating limited to 56 passengers, and participants may also choose to drive themselves. The mission trip welcomes anyone from 3rd grade through adult, and there are roles suited to all activity levels. Membership at St. Paul Lutheran Church is not required.
